Exciting game-viewing combined with sheer luxury, Singita Lebombo is one of our favourite lodges in the whole of South Africa. Its 15 suites are made almost entirely of glass and wood with amazing views. They are spacious, open plan, and feature an enormous bed and two showers.
Wilderness Mombo is located on the north-west tip of Chief’s Island, in Moremi Game Reserve – the heart of the Okavango Delta. Wilderness Mombo is often described as the finest safari camp in Africa and unbelievably good for game all year.

Approximately 250 kilometres from the closest village, this camp is in the middle of nowhere – a no-man’s-land where nomadic tribes live off one of the most arid landscapes on the planet. Wilderness Vumbura Plains is located within the excellent Vumbura Concession in the northern Okavango Delta, regarded widely as one of Africa’s finest private reserves and is one of the few places in the Delta to offer wet and dry game viewing at any time of year.
Londolozi Granite is one of five camps located in the private Londolozi Reserve which is in the heart of South Africa’s Sabi Sands. Standards of service, food and drink, and guiding are phenomenally high and the suites are available for exclusive use.
A contender for best luxury camp anywhere, it is one of our favourite camps in the country and one that receives consistently superb game reports. Our clients have never given bad feedback – in fact, many of the more experienced travellers claim that Chiawa is their favourite camp anywhere. Chiawa really is a superb camp and although the level of luxury is higher compared with its sister, Old Mondoro, the focus isn’t about the luxury, but more about the attentive staff, amazing food, and the excellent guiding. Chiawa is all about the experience and the ultimate trip would be to pair both Chiawa and Old Mondoro to get the best that Lower Zam has to offer.
Named after the prides of lion seen in the area, Wilderness Shumba is by far one of the best camps in Kafue. Set in the centre of the Busanga Plains, Wilderness Shumba is very remote; and with few travellers exploring this area, it is also very exclusive. Although it offers a luxurious experience, it places a lot of emphasis on the wildlife that surrounds the camp and on the activities available. Wilderness Shumba is operational between 1st June and 31st October each year. If you are after a more rustic option, you could consider sister camp Wilderness Busanga Bush Camp.
Supremely positioned on the banks of the Zambezi, with river views and set to the stunning backdrop of the Zambezi escarpment, Wilderness Ruckomechi is one of the finest camps in this region of Zimbabwe. As it’s located in its own private reserve just to the west of Mana Pools National Park, you have all the benefits of being away from the busier areas, while enjoying the wealth of activities that come from being outside the park boundaries. Mana pools (‘mana’ meaning simply four, referring to the number of pools created by the river long ago) has a reputation for being one of most exhilarating parks in Africa.
